	Mother: Guo Yu Xian, 57, farmer, finished primary school
	First son's family:
	First Son: Wu Wen De, 30, farmer, finished secondary school
	Wife: Li Jian Chun, 28, farmer, finished secondary school
	Son: Wu Dong, 8, student in 2nd year of primary school
	Daughter: Wu Xi, 3
	Second son's family:
	Son: Wu Wen Bin, 25, farmer, finished secondary school
	Wife: Li Rong, 25, farmer, finished primary school
	Daughter: Wu Xue, 3

2.	How large a family did each parent come from? 
	Wu Ba Jiu: only son; parents died young; was brought up by 
	grandparents.
	Guo Yu Xian: 5 sisters; 3 brothers

3.	How much time does your family spend together at 
	work and play?
	Work: Husbands and wives seldom work together. We have 
	specific roles. The men go to the fishpond, the women feed the 
	pigs, grow vegetables, and look after the house.
	Play: After work, we rest together, but the hours are not 
	fixed.

4.	How far do you commute to work or school?
	About 3 kilometers. 

5.	What kinds of transportation do you use? How much time is 
	spent in transport?
	Bicycle, 15 minutes to the fields.

6.	Do you actively practice your religion?  How does it affect 
	your daily life and community?
	Our family does not practice religion.
